The County’s contractor, Cox Commercial, has scheduled a traffic change for Thursday night, March 1, on the RM 620 project.   Weather permitting, the two westbound lanes from Deep Wood to just west of Wyoming Springs will be shifted to the north onto the new pavement.  Restriping, adjustment of traffic signals and the lane shift work will take place between the hours of 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.  Shifting the traffic lanes will provide a work zone between the eastbound and westbound lanes necessary to complete the construction of an additional lane in each direction and the raised center median.  Access to side streets and driveways will be maintained at all times.  Police officers will be on hand to manage traffic at the signalized intersections if necessary.  No delay to traffic is expected during this work.

Williamson County is hosting public open houses to share information and collect input on several corridors proposed for study. The open houses are from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The meetings are an open house format, allowing attendees to come and go at their convenience. There will be no alignments shown at these meetings. The purpose of the open houses is to receive input from the public and identify constraints. We will be using the information you provide at this open house to design the future alignment, so your input is invaluable. Information on the open houses can be found here.
