From Monday, February 13, to Friday, February 17, at the intersection of SH 29 and Park Place, the County’s contractor, Wolff Construction, is scheduled to perform work that will require a lane to be closed on Park Place.  The lane closure is necessary to allow the contractor to place new drainage pipe across Park Place.  This work will be done in phases, closing half of the roadway at a time to install the pipe while traffic is maintained on the other half.  This lane closure will be daily between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Williamson County Commissioners Court approved funding this week for a new roadway named King of Kings Crossing to connect Smyers Lane to the northeast edge of the HEB parking lot, which is located at O’Connor Drive and RR 620.  The project will increase safety and mobility in that area by providing access to Smyers Lane and Wyoming Springs Drive.
