The westbound lane of RM 620 will be closed on Tuesday April 22, 2014, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. from Smyers Lane to Wyoming Springs Drive.  The contractor will be removing portable traffic barriers.

Commissioner Valerie Covey, Precinct 3, held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Ronald Regan Boulevard, North Phase 4, on Wednesday, March 5.  The road is now open for traffic. This phase of the project is the final piece of the north-south arterial roadway that connects Cedar Park to Jarrell.  Click to view a map of the entire project.

Prime Strategies Inc. and HNTB were once again chosen to lead Williamson County’s road bond construction program as the county prepares to go to sale with road bonds approved by voters in November.  The Commissioners Court voted February 18 to contract with Prime Strategies Inc. as the general engineering consultant for the Road Bond program management and design review and HNTB for road bond program construction administration and inspection.

The Texas Department of Transportation joined Congressman John Carter, Representative Marsha Farney, Williamson County Precinct 3 Commissioner Valerie Covey, and Ft. Hood representatives to formally break ground on the third and final segment of State Highway 195 in Williamson County.

On Tuesday, November 5, 2013, Williamson County voters voiced their approval for the passage of two propositions supporting a $275 million in road bonds and $40 million in bonds for parks and recreation.  For information on these projects, go to www.wilco.org/bondelection.
