| Description |
The proposed improvements would include construction of a grade-separated interchange at SH 45 and the proposed O’Connor Drive extension, as well as construction of frontage roads and associated entrance and exit ramps along SH 45. Construction would include eastbound and westbound three-lane frontage roads extending approximately 2,000 feet west of O’Connor Drive and 4,400 feet east of O’Connor Drive. The proposed interchange would extend approximately 600 feet north of the SH 45 right-of-way and would tie into Williamson County’s planned O’Connor Drive extension project. Entrance and exit ramps would be provided on either side of the O’Connor Drive interchange along the SH 45 frontage roads. The proposed project would be constructed within the existing SH 45 right-of-way and Williamson County’s proposed O’Connor Drive right-of-way. |

TXDOT awarded construction to Ballenger. Construction is underway and is anticipated to be completed in fall 2013.
Proposed Work Schedule for March :
• Continue to haul imported material to crusher for processing to make embankment material
• Continue excavating for Westbound Frontage Road from the east end of the project working west
• Construct box culvert at McNeil Road
• Drill bridge foundations for Westbound Frontage Bridge
• Construct footings on completed drill shaft foundations
• Construct columns on completed footings for Westbound Frontage Bridge
• Continue to construct high mast illumination assemblies
• Trench for and install storm sewer RC pipe at various locations on the project
