Design was completed by WSB. The contractor is Joe Bland Construction. Environmental work is being finalized by SWCA. Right-of-way acquisition is ongoing. Construction is anticipated to start by summer 2019 and finish in spring 2020. A groundbreaking ceremony was held Friday, August 2.

The County’s contractor, Joe Bland Construction, has placed new hot mix in the intersection of CR 176 and Deer Draw and will close a portion of CR 176 on both sides of Deer Draw for reconstruction. Electronic message boards will be set up at CR 176 and RM 2243 to notify drivers of the detour. The detour route will be signed for traffic to utilize Patricia Road and Deer Draw as the route to access CR 176.  Traffic will also use a portion of the new roadway from Deer Draw to CR 177.  Access to driveways will be maintained at all times within the work zones.  The detour of traffic will be in place approximately 90 days weather permitting. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes our residents.
