RM 1431 at Parmer Ln/Reagan Blvd. Intersection Improvements

Location RM 1431 from Market Street (just west of Parmer Ln./Ronald Reagan Blvd. to CR 175/Sam Bass Road.
Description The City of Cedar Park, TxDOT and Williamson County partnered together for design and construction to widen the highway to a six-lane divided urban section from Market Street to Sam Bass Road including an innovative new intersection on RM 1431 at Ronald Reagan Boulevard/Parmer Lane called a Continuous Flow Intersection or "CFI."  The purpose of the CFI is to keep left-turning traffic moving so that it does not interfere with or stop the flow of straight-moving traffic through the intersection.  It works similarly to a left exit off of a freeway and will be well-marked by signage and signals well before drivers approach the CFI. For more information on a Continuous Flow Intersection, click here.
Status The project is managed by the City of Cedar Park as part of a Pass Through Agreement with the TxDOT. The project is completed and a ribbon cutting ceremony was held on November 16, 2016. For more information, click here.
